This weeks beer blog finds me drinking an IPA out of Minnesota. I picked this up at Teku Tavern. Surly Brewing Company is in Minneapolis. I plan to visit Minn one of these days, to see a baseball game and to check out the beer scene. This brewery will go on my list. The can art work is kinda badass and kinda scary. The IPA I had is called Axe Man IPA. Skulls and axes adorn the can. This beer packs a punch at 7.2% ABV. Citra and Mosaic hops. Yum. Packed with hop flavor, it's a smooth drinker, full of wonderful flavor. Standard IPA, no haze. Smells wonderful, tastes even better. I will be surly if I can't find this one again.
